Job Duties:

1. Install, configure, and support Abacus local area network as well as web servers, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
2. Troubleshoot and remedy hardware and software problems.
3. Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of systems and administer access and use.
4. Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree of Computer Science; five-year experience.

Job Title: Computer Software Engineer, Applications

Abacus Financial Services, Inc. is looking for a Computer Software Engineer to work at 939 Corporate Way, Fremont, CA 94539.
Job Duties:

1. Develop and create new computer applications, including desktop and web application, for Abacus to improve the communication with clients as well as field agents and implement Abacus� online classrooms.
2. Analyze user needs and software requirements.
3. Design, implement, and manage the new system, including project planning that is composed of system capabilities, milestones, performance requirements and interfaces.
4. Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware and software, and improve its performance.
5. Work with system administrator in the installation and monitor of the performance of the new systems to ensure that specifications are met.

Qualifications:

Master Degree of Computer Science; two-year experience.
